FEMA-what a joke & waste of taxpayer moneys

FEMA really should stand for "fuck e'm my ass"I've been
trying to get money that i've been awarded for hurricane
katrina damage. After more than 2 months after katrina, i'm
still trying, and no-one at fema seems to be able to give me
definitive answers.
FEMA is one govt agency that needs drastic change. It is
over managed, beuracratic, top heavy & paper driven. All
this from an agency that is supposed to make our
post-disaster lives easier. Here on the gulf coast, among
the people I talk to, FEMA is a joke.
FEMA needs to be a proactive agency whose goal is to deal
with disaster recovery. Not a passive behemouth that is
more interested in governmental paperwork than actual
assistance.
SCREW FEMA. They're absolutely useless.

Hello sorry that you are having a hard time with FEMA. My aunt and other
relatives still has not received their money from Hurricane Ivan damage. So
sorry, that you will be on the back burner for a while. I know mine have
been since Ivan.

that doesn't bode well for us post-katrina folks. the best
thing that G.W. Bush did was to can the head of FEMA.
Unfortunately, his successor will probably be equally inept.

Hello there, Bush volunteered to take the blame for the late FEMA response.
It is crazy, and that still did not improve his ratings. I have seen the
slow response with Ivan, so I do understand how they operate. Unplanned and
unorganized.

Good luck with getting your funding that you need.
